My top 5 foundations

Today I wanted to talk about my top 5 foundations. Before I start I just want to say that these foundations aren't going to be for everyone, I have normal to dry skin, so these are the foundations that work best for my skin type. 




1) L'Oréal True match in the shade - Golden Ivory

I love this foundation, it is easily my favourite drugstore foundation on the market. The shade is perfect for my skin tone and with 28 shades I'm pretty sure you will be able to find your perfect match too! The formula is velvety and gives a flawless finish, it's easy to blend and has a medium yet buildable coverage. The foundation also has tones such as cool, neutral and warm making it even easier to match it to your skin tone. The foundation has a pump and it is only £9.99

2) Maybelline Dream Velvet in the shade -  True Ivory

This is a really good everyday natural foundation, its coverage is buildable and easy to blend. The Dream Velvet is a gel whipped foundation, which gives a soft-matte finish and a second skin effect coverage. Even though this foundation is a matte finish it doesn't make my skin feel try or cling to any dry patches, my skin still feels hydrated when I am wearing it. The longevity of this foundation is really good I usually wear foundation for around 9 hours and when I came to remove it in the evenings it still looked nice on the skin, it hadn't gone patchy or worn off. I would highly recommend this foundation for an everyday natural look.

3) Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation in the shade - Vanille

This is perfect for when my skin is dry as it really helps to make my skin look radiant and healthy. The gel texture means that it blends seamlessly into the skin, creating a natural and even coverage. The foundation is made from vitamin rich therapy, which helps to reduce the appearance of fatigue.

4) Rimmel wake me up foundation in the shade - Ivory

This is a really good foundation for making the skin look dewy and fresh. The foundation adds a healthy glow to the complexion. The formula is light and natural and it claims to a 100% pore less coverage. The foundation works well to reduce the look of fatigue and it has an SPF of 15 which helps to protect the skin from harmful solar radiation.

5) Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation in shade -  2.0

This foundation offers a luminous semi matte finish. It is hydrating, weightless on the skin, natural and buildable. The foundation is formulated with light- diffusing spheres creating a weightless feel on the skin. The foundation is packed full of skin nourishing ingredients. Its cruelty free as well!

Hello everyone, It was recently my birthday and I received some Barry M products. I have tried a few things from Barry M before, but it was a long time ago. So I thought I would do a review on the products I received to refresh my own memory and to see if Barry M is any good. On first impressions I really liked the packaging, it’s both unique and pretty yet functional.
